And Tony Martin is hardly a slacker on hills. Phil isn't racing in Norway against some nobodies.

What was the point for Gavazzi's wheelsucking just to get second by the way? I mean, the gap never really dropped, it even went up.

Simple and true. I like Martin since 2009. But can't help and smile every first mountain in Tour, every year, after all the talk about him going for GC.

That's because of him blogging how great his mountain abilities have improved and also because of your bandwaggon hype. Hype him for what he really is: A great rider in tt, a multiple world champion and a great competitor in short stage races. He has to be criticized for not trying in the classics, instead of this eternal mountain debate.
