The TA route will be announced on January, 17th apparently. Very little rumours about the route, which should finish in S.Benedetto Del Tronto like last year.

as for now, the only rumour we have is a stage finish almost sure in Narni (short uphill finish). The next stage should start from Spoleto.

Any idea if it's still a TT? I think Cav's wheel collapsing was more exciting than the TTs have been.

Kessiakoff's schedule
“I will do Andalucia, Almeria, Friuli, Camaiore, Lazio, Strade Bianche, Tirreno and Romandie. After that we will see for the Giro. I do however know my strongest period is in the second part of the season, but we will plan that later. The Giro is the team’s big goal of the season and we really want to win it with Nibali.”

If he goes to the Vuleta in good form he will target a top 15.

What's most disappointing about the lack of ambition for a Vuelta GC here is that in the past he's got into breaks on key days to go for stage wins, or spent a couple of days in the autobus to target the TT etc. Now if he was looking to get a top 15 the way that eg. Periero regularly hit the top 10 of the Tour - by being aggresive and getting into breaks, with a top GC coming as a bonus on top of a stage win - then good luck to him. But I suspect he's actually looking at a top 15 at the Vuelta in the manner that Zubeldia has made a career of Tour top 10s...anonymously.

He has delayed his season start with one month. Since he took a vaccine against his allergy. He has feeling very tierd of it. It is one know side effect with take a vaccine agains allergy. The Side effect can be a year long according to an other interview with him late last season. That is probally one reason why he has a so low goal in the Veulta.

And Kessiakoff always say he is "out of shape" and just hoping to help his "teammates". Just before Giro del Lazio this year he told Swedish press that he had too much fatigue from veulta and just hoped to be able to race to the goal.

it looked like he would be able to finish the Vuelta on the podium two years ago before he got sick and now he targets a top 15...?!

would be a real pity if he is not able to live up to the quality of riding he showed in 2011 because of his allergies

Oh, and the first stage will be split into a short stage and a 15 kms TTT. Both of them in Lienz. (All this is official, I'm just reorganizing the news)
So we have:
stage1a: Lienz - Lienz (road stage)
stage1b: Lienz TTT 15 kms
stage2: Sillian - Vetriolo Terme MTF 220 kms
stage3: Pergine Valsugana - ???
stage4: ??? - ???

Samu Sanchez:

Vuelta a Andalucía
Tirreno
GP Miguel Indurain
País Vasco
Amstel Gold Race/LBL (or both)
Giro

.

A much lighter race schedule than Purito. makes sense too.
I thought he was doing PN.

There will be a galaxy of starts for T/A.

Anyone know what Westra is doing? I wouldn't mind for him to do the Giro- it has a long ITT, he went well on Mende so he should handle steep stuff (though the climbs are longer) and he could get a top 10 in a GT, boosting his confidence and leaving the TDF to De Gendt . If worse comes to worst there he can just support Rujano and have another good stage race beforehand.

First part of his season

GP Marseillaise (29 jan)
Ster van Besseges (1-5 feb)
Ronde van de Algarve (15-19 feb)
Parijs-Nice (4-11 mrt)
Gent-Wevelgem (24 mrt)
Driedaagse De Panne (26-28 mrt)
Ronde van Romandië (23-28 apr)

I assume afterwards training, Dauphiné/Swiss, National Championships, Tour de France

Roche starting his season at the Tour de Mediterranian. I would think he will also do Paris/Nice, Tour de haut var, maybe liege and amstel, either dauphine/swiss, irish road race/tt, tour, san sebastian and vuelta
