So I think the obvious question - is this more or less of a fiasco than Stage 14 last year (the one with the tacks)?
The one with the tacks was out of the control of the organisers. This one could probably have been avoided.

He was not smiling with that shoulder, I can guarantee you that m8
Stupid and sinister comment anyways

You amaze me you really do I can assure you my firend on ITV 4 Contador was about 2 kms from the finish and Ligget said everyone gets the same time and he looked fine and I repeat he looked like he was smiling. I agree when he came over the line he was looking at his shoulder though.:D

Seriously stop with the hating, just because you disagree with my opinion their is no need for calling me sinister, the way you go on youd think id cheer his crash, what a joke to call me sinister when I thought I seen him smiling before he got to the line. Then when he came over the line he was looking at his shoulder. It's not like he rolled over the line in agony for god sake isit. Plenty looed worst off like Goss.

Cavendish blames the ASO. The radio chaos lead to a "blod bath"

Why would he be smiling FFS. He is hurt and this could affect his entire race. He wasn't chatting with any of his team mates. Why would he be smiling? Because he is mentally *** and likes to smile for no reason?

Seriously stop being an idiot. He wasn't smiling. Maybe grimacing.

The question remains why you are posting a 'big grin' smiley after saying Contador looked hurt. Not sure if that is the impression you want to give, but you sure make it look like you are happy that he crashed. There is also a world of difference between "rolling over the line in agony" and "being fine". Any cyclist can tell you that even a small bruise can make a huge difference on your performance.

100%. The tack incident was awful, and stupid, but while it created a mild carnage in the pack over the top, it cause little injury and didn't make a mockery of the race.

Yep, hold a flat opening stage in one of the few places where they can start with a mountainous route to temper the usual crash chaos. Everyone called it 18 months ago I guess.

Hope everyone is OK and that we can make it another week with the world's best riders still 100%.
