maybe Sagan is tired and that's why cannondale is sitting on their heels? He is right at the back on that climb

Phil picked Cavendish and Paul picked Greipel. I think they have the wrong profile.

Those aren't bad picks. Peta Todd also stated Cavendish fancied his chances today again. If it weren't for this big break, I think all the big sprinters would be right there at the finish.

Well all the riders were talking about today as the big break day so I wouldn't have picked a sprinter. Probably 60 guys circled today on their calendar.

Sky should give them some more space so Omega en Movistar will start to help them for the white jersey...

It all depended on how big the break was and what teams were present. The first break of 5, with no sprinterteams present, nearly got away and was reeled in by Vacansoleil.

That said, I can't really understand why Cannondale didn't help to bring this current break back. It's not like they need to save themselves for the coming days.

Kirby: "Damiano Cunego, just comeback from the naughty step, not as good as he once was, but there you go"

Did Cunego serve a doping suspension?

Rolf Sørensen spoke with the Cannondale DS, who said that Sagan is tired and that is the reason why Cannondale haven't chased.

And now hes repeated that he means that Cunego was caught taking drugs and served a ban and that is cheating and he doesn't want it to spoil a glorious day like today.

WTF. Did Cunego get caught doping and serve a ban? I dont remember this at all.

No, he never caught doping. He also ran around with a "I'm drug free" t shirt during the Puerto times (if I remember correctly) in an effort to speak out against doping.
