Guys isit me or is Valverde lame, why did Mov use Quintana from so far out again its a joke guys he is 23 Valverde should have attacked when pace was slow then Quintana bridge and do 2-3 kms flat out, but no that's too hard or A.V ego. Hope Mollema looses his spot to Quintana he deserves the podium imo. Even thugh I don't cheer for Contador, I think he will get 2nd, why did Kreuziger bring the group back I no Contador cracked and he can say he chased Purito but the thing is he only bought Mollema back.

I agree , if Valverde wasn't going to try to get the stage win , he should have gone early to help Quintana. I wonder what his part was with Movistar tactics , waiting to be dropped ??

Froome was too strong anyway , I still hope he will try to win every MTF stage. Clearly he has won the GC , that's no longer a challenge for him.

Valverde didn't have the legs. He would have cracked soon after he attacked. The fact he got dropped not long after shows that if he accelerated, it probably wouldn't have lasted 1km.

He could only go his pace up the climb and that was slower than everyone else.

is sickening to hear Brailsford & Froome bragging about this stage-even with a weakened team, they appear to be so confident on how they're going to dispose the competition like a bad habit........

They weren't bluffing after all........

Thank God I started watching the stage just 500 meters to the finish line-when I saw FroomeStrong alone & the ridiculous gaps he had put on everyone, I just shut it down..... Then later I watched that ridiculous acceleration to drop Contador where the Alien didn't even got out of the saddle, for fvcks sake- I mean - Is that the new way to drop your opponents ???

what a sad day for cycling today....:(

fantastic stage today,Froome was absolutely awesome,Quintana too with his early attack.Mollema was ok,Mont Ventoux is a climb where he will always lose big time.less the 2 minutes is perfect for him i think.
the Tour is not over with 2 stages left for earlier attacks, maybe the duo Glandon-Madelaine will be too much for Foomey, although even Everest doesn't seem to be too much for him:D
JRod the best time on last km ever?:D:D

Nice wheel suck by Rodriguez/Fugslang today btw. Ten Dam did nearly all the work. Said those guys didn't contribute 1 inch. Well suppose it's normal with Mollema being 2nd. Still lame. Reason I don't like Rodriguez in GT's. (i do in classics tho)

Attacking early was good for him i think.

If he had to follow Froomes acceleration he would have the same fate as Contador did.

I'm not too sure about that. I think he would have stuck with Froome.

Certainly, he should try sticking with Froome on Thursday. If it doesn't work, then attack early on Friday and Saturday and be done with it. :D

It is not going to hurt to follow Froome and attack later on. If it fails like it did for Contador he should still be better than the others and should move up into second.

Poor Ten Dam,he worked so much on last 30 kms on stage 13,now suffer again...they have the 2nd place overall,if they want to keep it,then work for it

Well, that was easy enough.

An impressive win for Froomie, and he could well take the KOM jersey now too, though I wish he didn't spend so much time on the radio or do the crazy cadence thing. Celebration definitely needs more work...

Hope Nairito makes the podium - he deserves it.

i was rooting for quintana

he's amazing, the guy shows absolutely no signs of suffering or distress.

Not a good tour for Valverde or Evans so far...

I saw Rodriguez taking a turn

Speaking of wheel-sucking when did Contador morph into Leipheimer ? At least Leipheimer had an excuse (lack of talent)

Contador has an excuse , he was burnt by an alien... I am sure Nieve understood that :D

Froome you are a legend these guys cant take it that you are so strong, im sure its the whole BRIT thing. I mean come on Mods do your job all these clinic refrences and I got banned for it, were are the warnings.

You are quite right about the anti-Brit bias, but don't know why you're asking the mods to do anything, you only have to look at their posts to see why.

Clinic will be fun later, all the self-important p****s will be having fun jerking off with each other.

I fee all this talk of Froome being an alien might have some validity. I feel he could actually be an extraterrestrial sent to earth to win cycling races. What other explanation could there be? a mechanical heart perhaps?
