As I stated before Froome doesn't need to dance to drop anyone

Cineteq, do you agree that Froome is by far the best climber in the world?

If anyone has gif or something of Froome attacking Quintana shortly after catching up to him, I would be grateful. That was just crazy; I don't think I can spin the pedals that fast going downhill in the granny gear, never mind up the Ventoux.

You are quite right about the anti-Brit bias, but don't know why you're asking the mods to do anything, you only have to look at their posts to see why.

Clinic will be fun later, all the self-important p****s will be having fun jerking off with each other.

Not sure if it's anti-Brit bias. It's more anti-Sky bias.

I can't help it, but I just don't trust Sky. I also don't trust Movistar and Astana(not sure about Saxo atm) for a bit as well, but Sky dominates so hard that they have to take the punches.

He also did that multiple times. Also when he was dropping Alberto.

Craziest stuff I've seen since Pena Carbena (something like that) Vuelta 2011 with Froome and Cobo.

I wonder at what cadence was Froome going when he attacked Contador and then Quintana...

120rpm?? That's insane.

Maybe in the future stages, Froome should start 5 minutes after the rest and not have a race radio.

Ok, it's a strong move, but the Vuelta 11 one looks like a normal out of the saddle attack though. Thanks to the loopy cadence, today's looked crazy.

In last year's Vuelta, I remember Contador struggling in a tiny gear and getting caught on the line one day (by Purito and Valverde, I think) and there was a CN article at the time about him using a new SRAM rear derailleur that could take a 32-tooth sprocket. I guess Froomie must have had the Shimano equivalent today.

Using a tiny gear when you're close to pedalling squares is one thing, but using it to attack is just comedy gold!

I love Quintana but Movistar hit Froome all over the place, maybe a bit of payback, no? And what is Kreuziger doing bringing the favs back to Contador:confused:, he wants that podium this is Kreuziger's selfish streak coming back remember what he said about Nibali yrs ago.

TANK91: Have you obsessions or what? Why so many comments on your Kreuziger's "selfish move"? After he failed to follow Froomeys move (or let him go - right decision, none has it to do so, he only hanged on Tan Dam's pace. even though he obviously had enough to accelerate, much earlier. He did so only when Rodriguez moved on and Alberto was fading - and as for Mollema, yep, he may helped him to gain some 10 sec. - nothing significant, and the two spots may be good for strategy-making. Roman has been loyal enough.

I was watching the stage and everything was going normal... Alberto looked normal not comfortable but normal Porte was doing normal but then Froome accelerated and when I saw that my heart told me "That is not normal"...

TANK and airstream when you see that dont you think that that is not normal?

Since I dont have proofs.. I have to say chapeau to Froome... that was an impressive display but... man... I dont know...

Anyway... Contador looks like He is improving... hope that He continues that way and attack on the Alps!

Allez Alberto!!!

And I'm so happy for Nairo! What a talent! next year He will dominate the mountains! hope that He reaches the podium and finish 2nd in this Tour!!

15 seconds down on 09 Contador/Schleck then, who weren't going anywhere near full gas.

Yeah but that is measured from the bottom and at the bottom the pace was really slow me thinks...

It's purely matter of simpathies and expectations. If before the Tour you didn't consider Froome the strongest climber...yes I agree it can seem not normal.

In fact, the mural we are observing is being painted on huge contrasts. Froome is an perfect form. Contador and Rodriguez are prepared in a very mediocre way... So we are doomed to see something like that..
