nope, he was attacking where the gradient was steeper and going to the well-known tempo in flatter regions. normal porte riding style, in short

In that case Sky must be stupid. Porte should save as much energy as he can today knowing what's coming up. And the rain will make it impossible to do a good time. So really no point in going full gas.
