Jesus christ EBH's positioning is getting worse every year, he can't even get a decent position in a 50 man sized field with no leadout trains.

Some really solid racing today, exciting.

What a performance by Cannondale with Sagan closing the deal.

Chapeau to the riders today.

I have to say I'm mighty impressed with Cimolai. He's been doing well lately

Degenkolb took a line really close to the barriers with Benatti following. Sagan moved over a bit to follow and nearly closed the door on Benatti. I think that was close to a crash.

Great win by Sagan and Cannondale. They were all machines today. Don't even want to think about how they will fare tomorrow, but well done lime greens.

He's really missed Thomas this week, he must have been baulked three or four times there.

Yeah, but wait for the next 180 man field, where he will certainly get top 3;).

Very confusing; he can't do anything against 48 men, but comes 2nd in mass bunch sprint:confused:

Who would have thought Sagan would win a stage this Tour thanks to a Sky-ish performance from his team. Sublime ride.

Deserving win for Cannondale, work for 100km and still enough in the tank for a good leadout.

I just saw the second group and I did not see Quintana. There was one small rider but He did not look like Quintana. So it is probably an error.

Peter Sagan (CAN) gana al sprint la 7ª etapa del #TDF en Albi. Valverde, Costa, Quintana y Amador, sin problemas

Think it's a mistake?

Just to reiterate for people who missed it.

Movistar twitter confirming that Valverde, Costa, Quintana and Amador had no problems. so it's most likely a mistake.

That was an awesome performance! Italian power for their man. Well done Cannondale! Green machine FTW!

So funny watching Paul and Phil rabbit on about EBH. Particularly Paul. Only Degenkolb and Bennati made a go of it. Cannondale didn't do a thing wrong. Even when boxed in and almost cut off Sagan's leadout man put him into the right position.

Impressive stuff! IMO better than HTC's best back in the day simply because they shelled out the 3 other big sprinters. Lotto and Quickstep were given a mighty ***** slap today. Green jersey race is over already. Sagan has it.
