What a godsend for Cannondale. Bakelants unrelated attack, apart from presumably dooming the breakaway, was directly responsible for the sprint teams giving up.
Damn, I love that kind of stuff.

I'd say they're playing the waiting game. Letting Cannondale do all the work and tire themselves, then retrieve things at the last minute.

I think Orica should've send Albasini with Bakelandts. Now the final will be very hard to manage with Cannondale spent and Orica outnumbered. We'll see.

If Cannondale are too spent to lead Sagan out I won't be surprised to see Sagan do one of his classic ride everyone off his wheel rides like he was doing in the classics. Sagan wants a win bad, he'll do whatever it takes to win this IMO.

Hopefully Cannondale don't take each other out before that.
