Will OPQS, Lotto or Argos catch Cannondale?

Yes or No.

I think No, hope I'm wrong.

no... after this climb.. it will be 90% downhill.. very easy to keep the time gap.

Mighty impressive showing from Canondale. The likes of Sabatini and Bodnar have done well to make the front group let alone drive it this long

I'd say the drop is certain.
But for now, they might not catch them at all.

You really think it's certain that Cav would get dropped on that short last climb?

Gap now 1 min 55 between Sagan and the sprinters. Cannondale need help soon or we will be seeing a mass sprint.

Quite a few SKY riders in Cav, Greipel, Kittel... group. On purpose, definitely waiting for tomorrow imo.

They probably are saving their legs, but I believe the reason they are in the back group is more to do with the crash they were in when the split happened.

Regarding the sprinters, am I right in saying of the 'big' names, the only ones in the peloton are Cannondale, Green Edge, and Degenkolb?

Great work by Cannondale no doubt they will tire but if they do, I'd say that's what Green Edge would be waiting for to take over..

Orica can't let Bakelants get to far ahead but how many do they have to bring him back, also Sky for EBH but do they want the yellow before tomorrow?

I've been a bit out of it. Degenkolb is still there?:confused: If he is I don't think Argos should be chasing. Degenkolb has nmore of a chance against Sagan than Kittel against Cav, Greipel, Sagan imo.

Thought I saw some Garmins in the "Sprinter's group". Did Ryder and his rib keep up with the Cannondale group, or is he chasing too?

They have only 3 riders, two of them are Gerrans and Impey who won't work. I guess this break will be caught but late one (Chavanel?) may succeed.
