They have Impey/Gerrans/Albasini/Clarke (Meyer might be there but I haven't seen him). Probably not enough to commit a man, I think they will wait and hope the groups stay separated and when everyone is tired Albasini/Clarke will try an attack.

If the sprinters are unlucky they will lose on the climbs everything they might be able to gain in the flat parts.

Anyway seems like Sagan will score big points on the intermediate.

This is for sure, and that is an important target, but the stage is not still clear... maybe the next climb Cannondale is off. Behind there are a lot of riders...

Wondering if OPQS not taking turns in the back is a tactical decision considering Greipel is climbing better than Cav.

If Cav gets dropped on one of the next climbs and Greipel isn't OPQS will be happy if Lotto is to tired to prevent Cavendish from catching back on.

Lets be honest here, sprints aren't boring. It's the inevitable march towards them that is. If we get spectacle all the way through and it ends up in a mass sprint I would consider this a successful stage entertainment wise.

Agreed. This is actually a very entertaining stage so far. Maybe not like tomorrow, but we can't get too spoilt

Yeah, the fact that there's a big chase going on makes it interesting. I don't see much difference in terms of excitement between the chase being successful and being unsuccessful.

Well, granted. Though a stage-long 2-Peloton TTT isn't THAT interesting, not without GC players in the mix at least. But better at least, yeah.
