I do really hope he'll push himself all the way today and not ride on his heart rate he should be far enough removed from his altitude training by now.

He's been sick slightly, and crashed twice on stage 2. He's not feeling amazing so far this Tour.

Lets be careful, he's sat in the front before when the group was still quite big (20+) this week. Lets see how he holds up for the rest of the climb. But it's definitely encouraging.

He's never been a terrible climber. Just terribly out of shape. If he can get anywhere close to 100% in the Tour he'll be one to watch.
