So, who do you guys see as the favourite now? Can Cav make up for the seconds in bonusses? Or can Phinney take the win? Too bad there isn't much wind on the coming stages, that would make some good racing.

Regardless of the forecast I would be very, very surprised to see no more echelons. It doesn't take much in Qatar.

Thanks

Yeah, tv coverage starts 2 and a half hours in i.e. 1:00 pm CET. I was wondering if there are any live updates for those 2.5 hours starting about now.

Since you seem to have money on Kristoff you might be interested in knowing that he's slightly ill and is on antibiotics. So I wouldn't expect him to do particularly well.

is that the same info which was around ~2 or 3 days ago or are there any news about him? it said he was sick for two days, before the start of the race, and he would expect to improve every day. And regarding his performance on stage 1 and in the TTT yesterday I can clearly see him doing well today.

Twitter feeds of the teams will have something.

20kph winds apparently.

The Al Jazeera coverage seems to start earlier than that mirror site.

The first half hour is just the lads in the studio.

It's the same, but I just personally wouldn't put money on head-to-head bets on someone's who's ill, as the realistic chance of him becoming more ill significantly reduces the value of the bet.

that's true, it does reduce the value, but if you can get these odds against someone who did not do a single good sprint for two years I can still see a lot of value in there

Any word on size?

With a gap that small someone may get exciting and bring them back for the bonus seconds sprints.

yep, Hayman, Marcato, Bernard, Grudzev, Lang, Schullinger and Jang - they had a 2:30 gap but it went down to 0:55 after the field was split in the crosswind. There was a crash as well, but no more details so far as far as I can see
