How can you said that?

Machado GC results:

Giro - 19th - 2011
Vuelta - 32th - 2011
Vuelta - 40th - 2012

Kiserlovski GC results:

Giro - 10th - 2010
Giro - 42th - 2011
Vuelta - 18th - 2011
Tour - DNF ( was 22th on stage 14 before crash and working for Brajkovic ) - 2012

I would give the edge on GC to Kiserlovski rather than Machado.

P.S- Plus Kiserlovski its 1 year younger.

That's one factor against Kiserlovski

And Kiserlovski is one year younger than Machado...

Machado was quite hyped few years ago, and though having become a solid rider, he hasn´t become the rider he was thought he would get.

Costa is by far Portugues Number one.

If Costa keeps progressing like this he will soon win a GT

Kiserlovski was on the L'aquila break though.

As many have said above, what does leadership mean here? Turns the discussion almost irrelevant.

Machado will probably do 20 th or thereabouts. Let's face it. It looks like he's been stuck performance-wise for quite some time.

Rohan Dennis 9th? Darn, with Lutsenko underperforming big time it does not look god for my bet...

May I remind you I entered that bet too, with Janse van Rensberg, who currently has most points of these three riders :D

(the relevant posts of the thread in which that deal was sealed, though I see now, that you haven't responded to Hugo's post asking for confirmation for the three way bet)

Stuck? If anything his performance has declined!!!!

Back in 2011 both his climbing and his time trialing where way better. Right now machado doesn't make the top 30 of any GT and should work for kiserlovski who showed he has great climbing legs at the moment. And lets be honest, the time trial only matters for those fighting for a podium place. For the rest the mountains will be the ones deciding.

Also stop saying nonsense iZnoGouD, Costa has never been good on the high mountains so he has no chance of ever winning a GT. He reminds me of Kim Kirchen, possible low top 10 placings on a GT and good for 1 week races and 1 day races.

Yea, sure Rensberg, Dennis, why do I care, my avatar will be stupid anyways

:p:p

Tony back to his best this year (or at least very close to it surely). It's difficult to imagine anyone beating him in this form. Wiggins is the only one with a slight chance but the only likely match up will be at the Tour when Wiggo probably won't be at his best.

Machado to do the Roche approach. Kiserlovski for GC (until time trial) and then stages and Maglica Azzura. And a squeeze of the Radioshack betrayal somewhere in there.
