If Horner gets to the base of Angliru with the rest of the usual suspects, teammates won't make a bit of difference.

Someone else thinking that Horner beats his main rivals by more than 1 minute in todays stage?

Consedering that he's pulled more than a minute from them on easier climbs, I'm almost expecting it.

the betting market believes that horner will retain red.

But don´t forget they didn´t expect Horner as a contender back then. They just let him ride until Nibali counter attacked.
So a one minute advantage today will be more shocking. But i see it coming anyway...

i love google translate:

We review the interesting words of Christopher Horner (184) at exit: "Next year I'm 42 and making history. Hopefully the fans appreciate what I'm doing. Complicated come five months after knee surgery." Asked if today would be the hardest stage of the race, surprised his answer: "No. The hardest stage was the team time trial, where I had to put up with Fabian Cancellara (181)". As for your choices today, as positive as usual: "In the Angliru or you have legs or not. I I have, so I'm confident."

the cat-2 climb results:

1º Nicolas Edet (84)
2º Vasil Kiryienka (194)
3º David Arroyo (61)

Virtual mountains jersey:
Edet - 46
Ratto - 30
Horner - 22
TXURRUKA - 22
CArdoso - 22
Roche - 19
Nibali - 19

Edet needs to ensure that horner is not in the next climb, and he will get the jersey.

Feasting on what? He'll be watching Horner's back wheel as the Redneck drops him like a bad habit! :D

Nibali+rain+descent=bad news for everyone else. ;) You just watch, Nibali's been saving it for this stage, and today he unleashes it, Horner won't be able to deal with the kind of pain he'll bring.

(I'm going into fanboy mode for the stage. :D)

We shall see. Should be quite a show regardless.
