Yeah Eijssen did well at Oman- i thought he could go well here- said somewhere in the team list area. Started watching the race at 9 after having a sleep-in- we have exams on and don't have to go to school when we don't have exams- and then my recording cut out with 1.4km to go :(

Surprised to see Horner go so well, on a short finish- depending on how the race plays out he could top 3.

Also, I don't mean to alarm anyone but it looks like frickin' Eijssen could be one of the revelations of this Vuelta.

I'm a Belgian so I hope he will be one of the revelations.

This is off-topic, but since you're at it, google Aeroport de Castelló. Built 100% on taxpayers' money, as of yet zero flights.
It's yesterdays stage, so I hope we can be forgiven. This thread is destined for irrelevance anyway.

Only 200 million, the other one cost 1 billion.

For the worst project, google Berlin Brandenburg airport. Accumulated cost 4,3 billion, nearly twice the original projected cost. Opening time and final cost is still up in the air. And it looks like it will be too small when it does open.

Even though the stage is over, I will ask you to move your discussion to the cafe :)

But, but, the rules are not supposed to apply to me because, because, eh,....

Honestly, you should be banned for saying something that stupid. All three of those commentators are complete twits.

Well Kirby is always going on about Twitter ! His natural environment. I don't mind him sometimes but all of that laughing at his own jokes and constant chatter wears a viewer down. At least Sean Kelly is smart enough to to not reply sometimes or stay silent which says it all really. Quite funny when Kirby gets excited at the finish sometimes and thinks he is calling a horse race only to find he has called the wrong winner.

Put Mirabel's Airport in the list (near Montreal, Canada) new airport, operated only for a few years, and traffic returned to the old airport... still offtopic.
