Oh there certainly are many climbs in this Vuelta: almost invariably featuring a finish line at the top.

Some of us would like to see something different from time to time.

I´m totally agree, your stage is very, very hard to be 5th stage

Any chance for anacona today?

After yesterday's spectacle, i somehow can't trust what unipublic calls a cat 3 climb. is there any harsh segments in today's hills?

what's wrong with mountain finishes?

this is a climber's GT, and we should have more climbers getting into the mix. right?

i thought feeds start only after an hour.

Tour is a TTers GT. an average climber + a very good TTer can win TdF(do i need to give example here?). Tell me whether anyone has won vuelta using TT skills

Gap is 9.30.

Astana really want to keep red

now its 10:25 with 104km and two cat 3 climbs to go. Astana can allow a further 10min for the break.

Astana don't need to chase the break. It's going to be the other teams, like OPQS(Meerrsman), Sky(EBH), Shack, Argos or (i know i will miss one team), who will need to work for the stage win.

Agree they don't need to work but I thought it was common for the GC leading team to cut a deal with the sprinters teams on stages like this, where the former moderates the gap for the first 1/2 of the stage then the sprinters teams take over for the final half.

Will probably still get pulled back for a sprint I'm just surprised they've given them this much.

thats what we all expect. somehow the current bunch of riders seem to be lacking in this sort of thing. Too many instances of "crash happened after we had started the move" or "we had to work otherwise we lose our spot" or other such things are around.
