A bit surprised to hear Sean worrying about whether Kreuz would go home. Surely he'll stay and work for Roche & team, especially since he's said for a while that he's building for WC, would only go for stage wins.

No chance he's going home unless he gets injured. Certainly not with a team mate in red. In fact, it's his room mate in red. Bit of an odd comment by Kelly, really: Kreuziger has never been shy about doing domestique work, whether for Contador or for Nibali in the latter's Vuelta win.

CAS is out of contention for saxo.

i think saxo will ride for roche from now on. how is roche going to endure stage 10 and stage 20?

For the ones who think the climb is easy, remember the climb was more or less 6 km longer.

kelly gets payment from wrong set of people.

some of his comments are near to ridiculous.

Where did Basso come from? i thought it must be some green jersey classification rider or something like that. if basso is only going to target MTFs, then he will come in top-10 soon. WOW

Purito and Piti are not bad exactly, but the way they race is pathetic. Moreno really in top form right now, but i still think Rodriguez will get his chance.

Tomorrow he must beat Piti for sure. Super king Leopold though!

Hard to tell: I never thought we'd see Roche in a GT leader's jersey after two MTFs unless he'd been in a break or something, so already we're in uncharte territory for him. He looks in great form, so I wouldn't be worried about the next few stages, but it has to be likely that having the Tour in his legs will catch up with him later on.

Yeah, I agree. Was bizarre from Sean. Maybe being locked in a booth with Kirby for too long has started to mess with his mind. :p

Anyway, glad to see Nico getting more good things from his transfer to Saxo. :)

I wouldn't be worried about tour + vuelta for roche. he has been doing ti for a long time now.

also, apart from 3 or 4 stages, he was not doing much of a work for the team

If the plan is to let Moreno go for GC, it's wise of Purito to sit on with Valv and keep him busy while Dani escapes up the road.

i think that j-rod is letting moreno go in the front so that people are more worried about him in the final week. that will allow j-rod to do a long range attack and finish in podium.

If this is the best we get from the likes of Basso and Horner, they will drop way down the pecking order once we hit the 3rd week.

Instead Valverde and J-Rod remains the main contenders. Moreno is just a decoy, until things gets serious.

Very nice win by Konig, congrats to him and Netapp.

Action overall was pretty dull today, but we did get some wannabies removed from the GC luckily.
