it was a boring ascent...barring the last 5 kms i guess.

konig...well deserved. remembered me of mount diablo. great ride again
roche...he climbs better than ever but i still don't think he will survive in the last week
glad to see both pinot and anton doing something
ivan basso...well the legend is back. impressive pulls in the last kilometers.
valverde and purito...i think none of them will reach the podium in madrid
nibali... i don't know yet, we'll see on monachil&hazallanas combo but he doesn't look good at all

zubeldia...the invisible legend. a top 6 is in the makings....

the speed for such an unipuerto wasn't earth shattering. it was fast but it was the only climb of the day...the favourites will attack on hazallanas all out let's hope

I don't really understand why Nibbles was pulling the group when Basso/Moreno/Roche escaped. At least that's what I saw.

Anyway, this result tells little about his form. He's never had any kick. He probably lost those seconds in the final 300 metres.

and which others are you actually looking for?

Just finished watching.....nice finale!!!!

Chapeau Konig and NetApp; their Vuelta is made. Wow shades of RoboBasso there for a bit. Nice to see him and Anton at the pointy end of a race :) Pappy Horner used himself all up much to early with all that dancing around, then nothing....

GO Nico and Saxo! Love Nico in Red. Nice to see him doing so well, it was a good move for him to Saxo.

Nibs loses some seconds, is it lack of form or just non-explosive compared to Valverde/JRod? And where the heck was Astana late in the race???

A couple of pretenders unmasked but otherwise still everything to play for.

He did? Where did you read that?

CN live coverage has that.

So a huge day in Roche's career. We're hearing some talk of Nibali slipping his chain in the final km but there's no confirmation yet. Horner tried hard today but keeps second, although he loses some time on the leader.

And Konig is now into the top five too.

More importantly, he had nothing to lose at the Tour. Everybody thought he was out of contention after the first mountain stage. He probably won't do the same here unless he loses some serious time first.

Lol, life owns these Purito trolls hugely not in vain. Contador monstrously sucked in the Tour having been smashed by Purito's attacks however they continue to remember about 800 meters 1 km... :D Probably, let's say each other it's better to be a bit more serious, ah?

yep, exactly

All Team NetApp-Endura riders are issued with heat management clothing throughout the year but for the Vuelta a España, not only has the clothing been custom printed with the Vuelta logo and Spanish colours to celebrate the team’s Grand Tour selection, but the jerseys themselves benefit from the latest updates coming out of Endura’s Product Development Department.

http://www.netapp-endura.com/en/new...-with-the-heat-at-this-years-vuelta-a-espana/

the jersey itself changed as well, the sleeves are white now instead of blue

Well if we compare them atm. Nibali would without any doubt beat him (look at that pathetic brit riding like an amateur over in the states )
Compare this Nibali with the one that will show up in next years tour, is beyond stupid.

Nibali will never win le tour
