Wouldn't it also make sense to vote by country :S

I vote for Nibali/Italy.

EDIT: Profile for Fiesole:

I vote for Nibali/Italy.

I dont care for nationality. I care which rider wins the race not where they were born/who they represent.

And besides 2 of the stone cold favourites are from the same country.

And yet one of the choices in the poll is "Quintana/Betancur/Henao/Uran"?

Because the forum only gives 10 options.
On this years form cant leave out Quintana, Betancur or Henao and Uran's the dude who almost won the olympics.

In hindsight maybe Schleck and Contador could have made way.

Gesink was on my original list of 9 ;)

I was willing to take some heat for it as well cos i honestly think he can win.

But then i remembered hes doing Giro AND Tour so unless he crashes in the tour again i dont know if he can reach another peak 8 weeks later.

Don't forget Cancellara. The rest of his season will be all about this one. Wouldn't surprise me at all if he shows up here lighter than ever, climbing alongside the pure climbers and destroying them in the finale.

I agree, 2009-Mendrisio-Cancellara could win this.

Will probably be Nibbles best shot at the WC in his career.

I want to believe.

Should suit Mollema better. But actually I hope Poels gets back to his form. He would be Holland's best pick then imo.

Poels is overrated in the classics. He has never done anything in them. Might as well mention Slagter.

You're both forgetting the best Dutch rider of the moment.

And what has Slagter shown in classics then :p

But Poels never came into the hilly classics in top form imo. But maybe you're right about this.

That little climb, Via Salviati, could very likely be Fabian's springboard to victory.
I think that'll be Via Trento. Although it might be too short (150m)
