Exactly!
People here 2 pages ago claimed Nibali would easily close a 30s gap on Froome.
Now after the descend Froome even gained from 55s to 1 minute..

What do you make of that ilovecycling?

That Nibs was cooked already before the descent started.

I have never said that...but you are trying to claim that Froome is on the same level with Nibali descending wise, thats beyond ridiculous:eek:

Why isn't Nibali descending on the front if his skills are so much superior?

You really don't need to look for evidence today as for why Nibali is one the greatest descenders of the peloton. Just go 2 stages back and you will find him distancing the peloton by 30sec on a descent, nearly winning a stage. Today was different, because he was exhausted and probably thought of it as rational to let teammate Fuglsang get back in the group.

''IanStannard'' has returned I see. Ban him please, mods.

Again! another guy who judges people on their number posts, seriously. I would have been bluffing about Sky if I were Stannard.

Cant blame a fan for being optimistic. Clearly Nibali is not on form - even on the downhill. And you do need the confidence and strength to demon descent on wet roads.

Great win by Spillak

Jesus christ DT, you're smarter than that. It's pretty clear that everyone was taking it easy. No point in Nibbles attacking as he knows he has no chance against Froome in the TT. The fact that Birdsong who was clearly struggling with the descent stayed with Nibali and Costa shows that they weren't going full gas.

Seriously man - what a ridiculous post.

Your the ridcolous one. What happend in the TDF 2012 on descents Nibali was attacking like crazy never could get a gap, why? Because it was dry show me any stage were Nibali has been with a rider and literally dropped him on a descent?
