Nope, I'm saying that it's not really normal to expect from Nibali to close 30s. If it was 10s, yeah... but 30.. no way, nevermind 1 minute

Nibali could gain close to a minute on a technical descent against Froome when fresh and pushing.

Not a descent like today's. Especially considering it's not worth the risk with the rain, plus he looked already burned out.

Nice stage to watch! A big attack from the greatest from far away and a good sprint for victory.

Quite a decent start of the season for Katusha...

Also, nice to see Froome showing he isn't that bad of a descender after all. Even with rainy conditions, he took pulls in the front and looked confident.

He's not as bad as people say but he's not good either.

It's fair to say Froome is in exactly the same form as this time last year so he wasn't bluffing in his pre-race statements.

Your the ridcolous one. What happend in the TDF 2012 on descents Nibali was attacking like crazy never could get a gap, why? Because it was dry show me any stage were Nibali has been with a rider and literally dropped him on a descent?

Did you watch the Grand Colombiere (sp?) stage?

Nibali doesn't look too good for the Giro. He's got to train harder.

Dude he's riding the tdf..

I disagree. Even Frank could keep up with Nibs. And while Frank is a good rider, a in-form Nibali should drop Frank without to much of a problem. He's just not in form atm.

Good, exciting racing. Nibali is far from form and I still don't get it why he attacked first. Froome back to his old self. Good news for for those who don't want him to win TdF, he no longer has a team, will be on his own. Bad news for the same, he can do perfectly fine by himself.

Dont worry Jspear. My man Nibs knows how to get there. He is definitely not in the form he was last year at this time - but the goal this year is different. ;)
