Stijn Devolder is only doing it to himself, far out he is experienced enough to know not to ride at the back, especially in Flanders. Is Matti Breschel feeling good?

Wuyts needs to stop with his bs that the crashes happen cause the peloton is too big. There's only like 100 riders left in this race anyways.

Wuyts always uses everything to confirm that he's right and ignores everything that proves he's wrong, **** that guy.

To me, the crashes happening now seem to be of a different nature than the ones happening 40+k ago.

The crashes happening now are the type of crashes you will always see in this kind of races: after 200 k, a lot of guys are cooked. Combine that with steep hills, narrow roads and ditches, and you will inevitably have crashes in the back.

The crashes happening earlier seem to have more to do with a combination of extreme nerves, the very big group, incautious spectators etc.
Not saying Wuyts' analysis is correct, but it makes sense to think about ways to prevent these types of accidents.
