Notable contenders: Peraud, Brajkovic, Scarponi, Fedrigo, Dennis, Majka, Schleck, Frank, Tschoop, Duarte, Coppel, Jungels, Machado, Konig, Sepulveda.

I would like to see either Majka or Frank Schleck winning this and Machado doing well. We'll see.

It's not nice to make fun of us poor frenchies. We have endured 15 years of pain, with the very occasional glimmer of joy (Moncoutie would have killed everybody without doping, Chavanel and Voeckler turning it up around 30). Now that we have a youngish generation full of quality riders, let us enjoy it !

And BTW, Gautier is proving quite good in the early year. No TDF winner in any way, but might be a Voeckler/Casar in the making, which is not bad at all.

moncoutie would not have killed anyone or anything with his **** mentality

***Peraud
**Majka, Jungels
* Scarponi, Frank, Dennis, Konig, Kangert

Peraud and Jungels both did well last year with a much stronger field so should be able to podium. Majka and to a lesser extent Konig could take the climbing stage but will probably lose time to Peraud, Jungels and Dennis in the TT. If Dennis had had more race miles in him, I think he would have had a great chance of getting on the podium.

Edit: Forgot Kangert. Would be two stars if he was guaranteed leadership so depends on if Scarponi is leader.

majka has a chance. Both Schleck and him are no good in ITT. I'm rooting for Majka. Hope he recovers well from his crash.

Who is the favourite for the stage,Bouhanni?
Bouhanni's rivals for this sprint are Julien Simon, Rohan Dennis, Navardauskas and Benjamin Giraud of La Pomme Marseille so I would not expect him to be too troubled. He is in a bad mood (again) after being overlooked for MSR. This seems to help sprinters, raging, I mean.

Jungels took 2 bonus seconds at an intermediate sprint.

The ITT is too short for him though I would say

König isn!t participating, so his chances are really, really low I'd say. Can this threaten his TdF preparation? It'd be shame if he isn!t in form there cause he can really animate the race in the mountains with his talent.

Rohan Dennis is the bet bet of GC guys for TT. Better then Junglels, Dumoulin or whoever. But we'll see.

Bouhanni wins.

it is bad for konig but doesnt mean he can't have a good tour plenty time to get it right, but will he is another question issue could stay around for a while.
