Not to diminish Ullissi's win, but If it wasn't for the breakaway with Arredondo, Pirazzi & Rolland- this stage would have been a disaster---the GC riders rode so "cowardly" today, I was expecting more from them...

usual selection scenario, the first mountains don't determine the winners, but rather the losers

That's so typical of this forum. Every single race people complain it was much better before. Then someone pulls posts from those same people just after the 'before' race showing everyone complaining it sucked, and the fight starts

Not really typical of the place mate. Just typical for a few whingers. Not happy unless they're complaining.

Better than the last few days in my opinion, never in trouble.

What a load of bull.

How can you even compare today with what happened the other years?

Quintana is in striking range. Tomorrow is a great opportunity for him.

Not sure. You'll have to wait until the end of the Giro.

Quintana wins, he was fine.

Evans wins, Quintana was injured the whole time as was every other rider except for Evan's eight teammates.

Seriously, anybody know what happened to Rosa? He was one of the best on Carpegna, always in the first 6-7 positions and now he's out of the top30?

I'm so upset

Oh, and as for the stage, it was far from the hardest mountain stage ever and it's the first day in the high mountains, but a 20 people last km sprint is still a bit disappointing.

Evan Huffman? What do his teammates have to do with Evans?

He looked good, yet he didn't attack in a terrain that favors him more than Evans.

I don't see why you wouldn't compare it to the 2012 Giro. :p
