If Quintana, Uran and others have designs on the Pink jersey, they need to start picking away at Evans lead today, not wait for the MTT or MTF's.

Attacking with 100m to go and gaining 2 seconds isn't enough, but is anyone brave enough to attack 5km out? Not yet it seems.

Waiting for the MTT or Zoncolan is being rather optimistic, especially if they awake that morning to learn that snow has closed the road and caused the stage to be cancelled or shortened - which we all hope doesn't happen, but, sadly, it has in the past.

Not an impressive break to be honest.

hmm, I don't see it that way.

No I don't either. He will be sprinting against other climbers and at the moment he is doing that very well. Depending on the pace on the climb Ulissi should be there at the finish. Maybe AG2R will try again today. BMC don't have to anything while Movistar were just plain mediocre yesterday.

If there was a poll I'd vote break to win, and if picking two from numerous contenders I'd go with:

Weening - because it's a surprise attempt when most will think OGE will all rest up for now until the sprint stages, having had their fun in pink and fulfilled objectives.

Rubiano - because someone from that team will go as it's all about stage wins now, and Rubiano has done it before in the Giro.

Good call mate:)

Malacarne, Monsalve, Duque, Rodriguez, Weening are the best climbers there right?
Hoping for a Duque win

Really? Hmm. 7'50 with 65km to go looking good to me

how does it look good? Not that it wont happen, but if the peloton starts pushing it, and we follow the 1 min pr 10km rule until the mountain they wont have a very big lead

Hardly showing any inclination of pushing it from the exact time you posted

point being? DT pointed the the time differnce when he said that it looked good for the break. if he had said that this is a day where the peloton will take it easy because im a clairvoyant and I can see it being so, then I would agree with him. :)
