looks as if evans is strong.

i dont know why uran responded late. but he was the only person willing to cover pozzovivo's attack. OPQS is becoming a GC team!

Great to see some GC courageous enough to try and attack - well done Pozzovivo. BTW: Australian English is far worst to understand:eek:

Dear God:

Please show us your mercy by allowing a goddamn breakaway to make it to the finish line---I'm so sick & tired of the GC riders waiting at the last k to attack :D

Thank you God- We can always count of you:D:D

Big kudos to Weenning, Malacarne & Pozzo for providing the proper action.

at least we saw 1 attack that tells us something of the strenght of the strong men.

Mut be sad for Vinoattackseveryone to see Aru wasn't there to follow that attack :p

Aru don't do explosive bursts, that wastes energy unecessarily. He rode up quietly with Basso, knowing that he would catch up. Kelderman might learn something about measuring his efforts from Aru ;)

Aru came in at 12th, along with GC riders, despite having a bad mechanical.

whats all this fuss about Aru?

Normally, Quintana always has to cover a move by Pozzovivo. Will he be better the third week? I hope so for him.

Today was not the time for Quintana - he'll take that time back in the TT (as will Evans). The Dolomites and Mont Grappa are Quintana's playground.

Smart riding by Evans to conserve and not waste energy chasing Possovivo. He looked and sounded very relaxed and content in the post race. Bodes well for the TT I think.

What a great Giro for Orica Greenedge!!!!

Ulissi is saying that Lampre hasn't worked today because he was tested at 6 in the morning: he was able to sleep only 4 hours and was feeling really bad during the stage.

What do people think will be the time losses for the TT?

Pozzovivo has seemed to improve the past few years. Last years mostly flat 54km he lost 2:34 while in the Vuelta one with the big hill he was only behind Fabian and Martin.

The middle flat 15km will be tough but maybe 1-1:30 loss to Evans for Pozzovivo?

in an italian race, they are testing an italian riding for an Italian team at such an ungodly hour?

all these sinners must be imprisoned.

Yeah, probarly true. He isn't fully recovered from his crash either.

Evans is not going to be his most serious threat. He will blow. But Pozzovivo will be a tough nut to crack
