Gerrans always wins good races that aren't raced :(
But I gotta give it to him, he does what he does very well. Good sprint by him I thought Dumoulin would take it at some point.

Dumoulin did a good sprint though. Good to see he has some potential and ambition in classics. :)

They are doing a fantastic job, you are pathetic

Calm down, now. You should refrain from typing if you did not watch the race entirely. They were nowhere to be seen during 190km, that is far from doing a good job. A race is not just final km's. They are pathetic.

1 Simon Gerrans (Aus) Orica GreenEdge
2 Tom Dumoulin (Ned) Team Giant-Shimano
3 Ramunas Navardauskas (Ltu) Garmin Sharp
4 Daryl Impey (RSA) Orica GreenEdge

6 Gianni Meersman (Bel) Omega Pharma - Quick-Step Cycling Team
7 Sep Vanmarcke (Bel) Belkin Pro Cycling Team
8 Enrico Gasparotto (Ita) Astana Pro Team

In a race like this it's a good idea to save yourself for the last couple of kms. Smart racing from Lampre today (although their captain failed them HARD).

Costa not good at all today, even without Vichot crashing he wouldn't be at top-15 and he was suffering at the end.

I'm getting scared for the worlds, but still Montreal to go.

Gerrans impressive!

Yes. They clearly saved themselves going thrice in pointless attacks. And that is not even the point, they should have protected their leader. Oliveira stood near Costa, alone, for more than 160km's, while the others were riding for themselves or simply did not care. Most but two did not even appear in the front at the end so that makes no sense. And they have been like this all year and you know it.

He was delivered nicely for the last climb, yet failed BIG TIME. All blame should be on Rui.

Only his second race after DNF'ng from the Tour. I'd say he did well. And you know that once he saw such a big group after Potasse he likely eased his pace. A top 10 was irrelevant.

Are you serious? Where did I blame Lampre? All I said is that they did not and never act as a team with focus on their leader. If Costa did not manage to win is irrelevant. My post on that was waaay before the finish so I don't know where you got that idea from.
