Well, i'm glad Gerrans won. Again horrible wheelsucking and tactics by Valverde.

Valverde did more than Gerrans. He actually closed gaps once in a while. Can't see how you can appreciate Gerrans winning when you dislike Valverde so much.

I look forward to CN drooling over this Gerrans 'deserved' win. Deserved as he is Australian, obviously. Very disappointing race and a winner who did nothing until the sprint. Worst LBL for a long time and Gerrans now has 2 monuments by basically just wheel sucking.

Gerrans deserved it in that the people who should have made the race and dropped him decided to give him an easy ride. Not Gerrans's fault, that.

Dull racing this week but Gerrans rode his usual smart race and the very similar Valverde could not come around him. Martin's fall ruined the sprint for a few riders. I was hoping the two leaders would hang on.

I'm disliking Valverde because he can do way more. He is capable to drop Gerrans on Saint Nicolas, but he doesn't dare. That annoys me.

Gerrans however, was on his max the entire race. So the only way to win LBL is to wait for the sprint. He did it just perfect. So i can appreciate that more.

come on guys. all the big guys who so called also gc contender should make it harder for Gerrans in the last two climbs. But they didn't, either don't have the leg or dunno. So Gerrans outwitted everyone, unfortunately. I have to congratulate the guy. He hung there, and still have the energy to out sprint everyone.

Okay, basically you're saying that we have to acknowledge that he won, and by winning was better than the other guys. That's acknowledged. Doesn't make the race any less sucky.

Agree, that's the difference between Gerrans and Valv Piti. Gerrans wheelsucks the whole day but wins, Valv has another podium

I wonder if even Machado with his great positioning skills managed to finish top20 in this race.

Anyway the only guys worth of being called bike riders today are Howes, Kreuz, Pozzo, Caruso and Arredondo (EDIT: And Denifl as well). Everybody else suck and don't deserve to win a race for at least a year.
