Yep, before every climb he had 2 guys that delivered him at the front of the climbs and when they hit the Poggio only Hincapie was left, but he delivered him at the front once again. No need for a leadout in M-SR.

You need someone to pull it back together the way people ride the Poggio nowadays. Looks like he may be relying on Lotto backing Greipel, if he makes it himself (like last year).

Correct. Which was the stated strategy before the race. Cav would sprint alone, which he is very good at. The key was to get him over the Poggio in one piece.
