It was so obvious, Formolo was just cruising in Nibali's wheel, then Nibali starts talking and suddenly with 1k to go Formolo launches like 3 completely pointless attacks.

The race was pretty exciting, chaotic, with the main favourite getting into action already with 30km to go and on every chance from then on.
At the end he was cooked and I thought Formolo might take it but glad for Nibali, nice to see the tricolore on a guy whos gonna fight for the victory at Tour.

I am not so sure the tricolore will fight for victory at the tdf but i see your main point and i agree it is nice. Formolor - if he could improve his tt he would make a good stage racer.
