From the results, i still think Arndt is damn good. I mean panzer had put a min to even likes of canc/wigg. even if we assume that TM didnt make tht error, Arndt wud have been wthin 2 min. thts a sure shot top-10 chance in a GT

I'm still impressed with Arndt. Love "sprinters" who can perform in long TTs.

Not sure.

Is Didier really that great a representative of a country's TT'ing power?

I mean in contrast to Jungels?

I don't mind a hill and a few technical parts, but for me a real TT champ is somebody who can go really fast for about 1 hour.

Jungels is actually best at 20-30km TT's, that's usually his strong suit. He simply had a bad day and Didier won fair and square. But that said, if it were 50km he would have certainly beat Didier.

I think in this specific case, it's mostly about the logistics. It is after all a relatively unimportant race, with only three contestants. Is it really worth sending them on a 50k parcours? Keep in mind the NC race is organized by a local club with limited capacity. Better for all involved to keep it short rather than drag it out forever

Just do laps, like the Germans.

Italian RR, Ticker:

60km in, gap 6 min

Testi (12, Androni), Giorni (100, Area Zero), Franzoi (114, Marchiol), Gozzi (127, Nankang), Malaguti (94, Vini Fantini), Cecchinel (68, Neri Sottoli) e Forconi (128, Nankang)

Weak break. Should be easy for Astana/Cannondale to keep it in check.
Time for Nibbles to get a Tricolore on his shoulders. Would be nice to see the Italian champion fighting for something at the TdF for once.

And watch out for Formolo.

Viviani, Brambilla, Montaguti, Scarponi with a small gap on the group (40-50 riders) . De Marchi is trying to bridge.

Zilioli and Santaromita also in the front group now. Bardiani is leading the the peloton at 30 sec

Thank you! I have been finding it nearly impossible to find any info (profiles, startlists, pics, vid's, results,) from anywhere except what is posted here. So thanks all who are posting all the info! Google hasn't been my friend so far....

From what I'm seeing Formolo might be the only one able to stay with Nibs if he attacks later.

Oss trying to bridge.

It would be cool if Nibbs could distance his rivals on this decent....

He has indeed attacked and only Formolo and Santaromita are with him now.
