If I'm not mistaken same Degenkolb won in Vuelta 2012 on a race track.

Yes, and Petacchi won in Mugello 2007

And Rudi Altig became World Champion on the Nürburgring of course :p

So far this Paris Nice has sucked. I don't have a problem with races more suited to sprinters or classics riders, but where are the top 3 sprinters? Where are alot of the top classics riders?(a couple are here) I dunno....it's been kinda disappointing.

I like the classics riders here, but they need terrain. Big straight roads with zero hills makes it almost impossible to create race action.

Also I quite enjoy the sprinter field. Seems competitive enough. Either all the "bigs" or none works for me.

But three flat easy stages in a row will always suck. Repetitive. Predictable. Dull.
