Both will peak for the Tour. Pinot discussed taking on the Vuelta as well.

Last thing I read was Pinot planning to ride only for stages in the TDF and for GC in the Vuelta.

Matej Mohoric

Tour Down Under
Herald Sun Tour
Trofeo Laiguelia
Gran Premio di Lugano
Paris-Nice
Amstel Gold Race
Flèche Wallonne
Liège–Bastogne–Liège.

I know he won on a really hard WC course last year, but is he suited to the hills of the Ardennes? I would have thought of him as someone who could smash MSR, RVV and P-R:confused:

Then again maybe they want him to have more of a free role in those races and not be enslaved to Sagan.

Tour of Cali WT Teams: I'm guessing Tejay will be defending his title and Trek, Garmin, Belkin and Sky will send GC guys as well. Sergio Henao for Sky maybe?

TJVG will not ride this race, instead they will support Peter Steitna.

Tejay is skipping Cali for a more traditional build up of PN, Romandie, Dauphine for the Tour.

Sky will probably be trusting in their young guns, Dombrowski and Boswell; maybe Edmondson as well. Dombrowski I could see doing very well.

Gesink is probably favourite although Rohan Dennis is a good bet as well. Sky's squad I imagine will be Dombrowski, Boswell, Pate, Edmonson, Earle, Henao, Rowe, Swift.

He'll be a puncheur, not a cobbled classics rider.

Interesting. Perhaps a flyer now that Chava is gone. It would allow other Steppers to sit tight.

Some things are better unchanged. I hope he can pull a good ride in the Giro, regardless of who he'll ride for: Benat, Valverde or Nairo.

Benat is not going to ride the Giro, he will fully focus on the Tour for Valverde. So Quintana will be the logical outcome.

Forget Contador, Costa and whoever else might be joining, Kwia will win Algarve! Nice to have him back here.

No cobbles for him but I guess he had to made a choice this year instead of riding a bit of everything.

Well there is no point him riding cobbles with Boonen and Stybar as two leaders, Terpstra and Vanddebergh as well.

Much better to focus somewhere where he will have a leading role ( Uran as seemingly doing Giro shouldn't be peaking for Ardennes)

Yeah that's also a good reason.

What a shame :(

lol, new route is almost perfect for him (well, as perfect as it can be with Sagan racing). He's even doing T-A. I guess they don't want to ruin his chances of an AGR podium.
