Doesn't sound too good, I guess the Vallter 2000 stage will be harder though. Hopefully the Montjuic circuit is reversed.

Sagan to Alonso?

According to Italian web-site tuttobiciweb Peter Sagan will be riding for the so far unnamed team that is being set up by Formula 1 driver Fernando Alonso next year. They say that he has agreed to sign a contract for 2015 and 2016 for €3.3 million each year. Whether it is true or not, we won’t know for sure until the official signing period in August.

Why can't they come up with decent profiles? It is so annoying.

They are actually more decent than many profiles out there.

All stages have the same altitude scale so we know exactly what we are getting. Stage 2 could be very interesting and the new hill on the malhão stage looks like ti could add something special to finish.

If the riders want, stage 2 might be the best of the race really.

Thats really part of the problem. The level of "marketing" material is generally pretty poor in cycling. I mean what would it take to generate a set of decent profiles along with some details of the climbs involved? Or perhaps fans just don't care (I do).

Anyway, parcous appears good. Who will win this?

Kelderman
Contador
T-Mart
Kwia
Castro
Costa
Voeckler with another world class TT performance, lol.

Lineup looks pretty good so far.

Contador, Costa or Kwiatkowski.

A few gradients would have been interesting, just so we know what we're dealing with. But yeah, at least we can see if a stage is hilly or not ;)

Looks like a good profile, very good for Contador and maybe lil' Rui.

edit: oh, I forgot, and Horner of course!

If raced hard, i think that 1k at 13% hill a few km's before malhão could make a big difference for a guy like Tony Martin.

Also he will probably be i yellow by then and everyone will know they have to attack hard.

Martin only lost 18s on Malhao last year and he came in with Kwia (perhaps used as a mule in this case).

Took about 1 minute in 34km TT on Kwia who placed 2nd last year. TT now 13km. It will be close, unless somebody does something special on stage 2.

Is this live on Eurosport?

Yes it is live on Eurosport.

And I am sure Kwia will win. Climbs are not that hard to make a big difference on him, in fact I think he will be there on both stage 2 and 4. Even if he loses a couple of seconds on stage 2, he will get them back on the Time Trial. He will have the leader's jersey at the end of the day and carry it to Vilamoura.
