Doubt he can be beaten, but hopefully the teams will have a go at least.

I honestly don't consider Cav "The" favorite for much anymore. He's lost a small step, his train isn't as dominant as it once was, and there isn't much separating he, Kittel, and Greipel. He's obviously still one of the favorites for bunch sprints but he's not the top dog anymore. I certainly don't consider him to be the favorite at MSR. I might actually give Boonen a better shot at winning.

I dunno, it all depends on how his real climbing is, which we haven't seen this season. Of course the final climb isn't too crazy tomorrow, but it goes on for awhile and is a high mountain. Contador only needs 20 seconds and a time bonus win to catch Kiwi, and he got over 10 seconds on him on the Malhao, much shorter. Sunday, who knows - Kiwi's got some punch to him, but we're talking up to 30% here. That's mad... you can lose lots of time in 600m.

My bet is that, with the form he's showing, he's got a good shot of limiting the damages. But of course, Contador knows what he has to do and there's nobody in the business as good at trying and trying again when his back's against the wall.

There are other great climbers here too, don't want to focus all on Conti, but if he gets away with a group that has, say, Horner and Quintana or something, they can pick up lots of time tomorrow.

Oh yeah, Quintana. He can put Kiwi to the sword for sure.

Agree, in such a race here gaps are needed early. Now we need some riders to take chances perhaps already on stage 4.

Only issue is how strong is Kwia compared to last year? I guess we will soon find out.
