Has Contador done something recently that I missed for people to talk about him with Quintana for climbing?

Used to love him, but he's just not the same rider anymore. On a level with Porte (if he hits his 50% chance of not bonking) at best.

The more he loses the bigger a fan I become. I have always been like that. Thats also why I have begun to somewhat cheer for Andy these days I guess, and was happy to see Frankie-boy on the attack in PN yesterday.

When did Andy win something?

Always been a loser ;)

I think Arredondo will suprise today, was already good at Arezzo.

Yesterday was not a stage for Quintana. If you aren't well placed before that final k, you're out for any good position and you will lose some seconds. Today is the day we will see how good Nairito actually is.

My pick:

1. Arredondo
2. Kwiat
3. Evans

Someone needs to explain me why they think Evans will top 3?

The same as why people think BMC will do good in the TTT. That team just sucks.

arredondo could be good becayse the climb is not steep and he is very explosive. arredondo is bets on not so steep climbs

the team doesn't suck anymore with lelangue out and pinotti in as coach. however evans still suck and he won't go anywhere. same forgilbetr. but all other talents will improve this year. expect a lot from atapuma away from corti

But Arredondo's dream is to win FW one day. You better might tell him this;)

the fleche wallonne is a wall of 2 km. betancurt also doesn't like stepe climbs but on power and explosivity they can do a few km of a steep wall. just not long climbs.

Porte won't be as good as Quintana and Contador, he may be a few seconds behind them in the climb. Porte will make up that time in the ITT.

Trollolol.

Verhoeven predicted this yesterday... "Robert is in really good shape, if he has his day and everything falls into place then everything's possible".

Oh Poor Robert.

The Dutchies are really having a terrible two days.
We're used to it, every amount of bad luck hits the Dutchies in the biggest races. Business as usual.

He also said Vanmarcke was really strong, who turned out to have a cold. Verhoeven is usually full of sh.t.
