Kirby just stated Froome and Contador would both struggle to stay with Nibali today

Easy enough to say since neither are here. Doesn't pass the smell test, but again, it's an opinion and within the realm of possibility.

Poor Nieve, sacrificing his 10th place in GC for this :(
Don't worry, he'll get it. It's one of the few known things in a GT: Nieve will be 10th.
Rui Costa apparently 1.50 minutes behind Nibali, not bad.

not taking anything from Nibali... YAWN... what a boring mountain stage. Nibali accelarates, .. game over.

I understand why Nibali is smashing it, but sort of a d*ck move to take the win from Majka and Konig.

Not in the Peraud group so it doesn't seem to be true

It's probably Nibali's best chance to take Tour stages. He better enjoy it this year, Froome and Contador and Quitana won't be missing every year.
