Thats possible but, still it will be What If Tour and he can win as many stages as he wants but nothing will change this.Carols said:Speak for yourself! I've been following cycling for 45+ years and he is convincing me he would have been a tough opponent no matter who was in the race!

You mean like 2013, 2012 & 2011? And basicly most Tours?ILovecycling said:Thats possible but, still it will be What If Tour and he can win as many stages as he wants but nothing will change this.
l.Harm said:Don't be ridiculous. That was not my point. He said NetApp was doing this to tire the other riders for the final climb. Well the other GC guys are not going to get tired if you make tempo on the flat parts. So they need to do it on the climb. Didn't say anything about the climbing qualities of their helpers![]()

2008 the two top favourites weren't invited, in 2007 they both DNFed, in 2006 they both DNS.TANK91 said:Uhm what about 2013? No one beats Froome that year. Just like 2012 Contador would not have won he could have left Wiggo but Sky had Froome. This is a better question tell me last time the two top favorites abandoned? Basically never
You don't really seem to understand how sports work.LaFlorecita said:Fortunately I know there are even some Nibali fans who agree with me, so I'm not alone. Sheesh, might as well give Nibali 6 stage wins already and be done with it. I just hate riders who feel the need to stamp their dominance on a particular race. Sure, dominate, who cares. But why put so much effort in another stage win, when that same stage win could make another rider's career? Riders are driven by success, but what the hell is the difference between 5 or 6 stages?
