Ok, now big boys came to play. If the gap is 2 minutes at the bottom of Saint-Lary then things are going to get tight and guys going for stage win will need to attack early

I would love to see a Pinot or Peraud victory on the stage. But it will probably be Nibali.

Yeah, because there isnt a group full of good climbers up the road......
If they dont end up watching each other then the winner is among them. if they do then its Nibali/Pinot

Who is the fav for stage win right now?

I don't think there's a clear cut favorite yet. Lots could take it. Most likely someone from the break that can survive or one of the GC guys (Nibs or one of the French would be my guess).

He's not as good as he thinks

I didn't know being unable to judge your own ability is a side-effect of having a bacterial infection on your lungs, you learn something everyday.

Traffic is below the level of a normal Giro and Vuelta stage. So not even the regulars care about this

Maybe hardly anyone's here because they don't want to see pictures of seals about to be clubbed to death on a cycling discussion forum? Just something for you to think about.

I have really enjoyed Bardet attacking Pinot repeatedly on the descents. Good stuff
