Actually other then NetApp the wild cards were terrible this year. Absolutely terrible. Cofidis are an embarrassment and Bretagne are entirely out of their depth. IAM at least was fairly visible, albeit with no product at the end.

NetApp, as in last year's Vuelta, were the only ones to justify the invitation. The French WT teams may be much improved in recent years but their PC teams are a disgrace.

True. Actually I feel there were a number of teams that were totally invisible or below their level this year, more so than last year(s).

According to De Kort, that crash was TJ's fault, so it's not the same.

...oh, well that settles the matter...another rider "says"...

Tejay deserved the placing. Races are contested over more than one day, and a plethora of things were included in the time of each rider...

De Kort says Bardet made his own choice to ride for AG2R, and his team choose his tires, and the tires evidently had a problem, so it's Bardet's fault...

He's improved his best GC in the TdF (2007), repeating his ITT performance of that year :D

OK, let's say you're right and a guy deserves something if he didn't crash.
TJ should be 7th because Contador and Froome crashed out.

What the hell? Did they even show Pinot's finish there? Or is my stream messing up?

Did he beat Valverde?

Edit: Ah, he did! Yes! :D

But he did

And Bardet punctured last time I checked...the placing was not due to a flat tire, the flat tire merely added to an innumerable set of circumstances that led to Tejay winning...
