the peloton is so packed because of the slow rythm, it makes more and more afraid of the moment it will start for good, because a pile up would see lots and lots and lots of riders involved.

Tomorrow but not today. Where exactly would you produce action here? The climbs were kinda nice, but the last one came with 60k to go you know.

Also it's a damn first stage, no one needs wild action on day one. Even day two is too early usually. And otherwise just wait for stage 5, it's going to be epic!

Yes, agree, but have to keep reverting back to Day 1 at TDF 2014....lots of excitement and expectation, but will be a boring, all back together, sprint finish.......which you knew before the start, right?? ;)

Aren't Kittel and Degenkolb feeling too good or why is Giant not working all day? Only OPQS, Lotto and Cannondale from the sprinter-teams.

I assume because It's a long Tour, and if the other sprinter teams are willing to do all the work why should they bother. Just stay close to the front but out of the wind. Maybe save it for the leadout in the final.

Awful second part of the race. Pretty entertaining until the 60 k mark but sadly none who feels to pay tribute to the british crowd.

Bodes well for tomorrow though.

Expectations are super high considering day 1 of the Tour - what did you expect??

Lets ride for the crowd instead of our multimillion dollar sponsors and contenders,
