Tony Martin is absolutely incredible! Such sacrifice for a teammate, even knowing that chances arent huge. OPQS seems to have excellent team chemistry. All of the riders working for Cav even though some, for example Kwiatkowski could be saving energy, then Kwiatkowski leading out Trentin instead of trying to beat Sagan on his own, now Tony Martin almost passing out after effort in past 2 stages. Although they have no real contender here, its absolutely incredible.

Also, Tinkoff will be all about stage hunting now. I expect Rogers and Majka to get a stage between them.

I'd pull Majka out of the race tomorrow. WIthout knowing the extent of Contador's knee injury, they are going to need someone to ride for GC at the Vuelta.

Not bad by Visconti, he's staying closer to Kwiatkowski and Purito than I would've expected considering his success on earlier climbs today. Though obviously he doesn't have their class going up a mountain.

I'm calling bullsh1t on that one! Smells like the big S in damage limitation mode.

Since every man, woman & child has a camera these days, if any bike collapsed, I'd expect the images to start circulating fairly quickly but yeah...Specialized would want to kill any frame malfunction rumours before they get going.
