Also Porter is SKY . IN recent years they have daring success in the Tour success at the same time Garmin is famous for their poor tactics and LUCK.

Daring?

Sky's tactics were:

Control stages and win in the ITT's (Wiggins).

and

Have the best rider in the field (Froome).

That's well enough if you have the best ITT rider in the field or the best climber in the field who's a top 5 ITT guy... but Porte is neither of those things.

When Armstrong stopped riding the first time, it's not like those guys who drove him up the mountains for his wins all of a sudden finished in the top 10. Their best rider finished 37 minutes down the following year with mainly the same team (sans Armstrong).

I feel like Porte gets way too much credit.

Can't understand all the expectation about Horner. Wasn't he nearly killed when struck by a car in April?
I don't know if it's expectation so much as possibility. After all, he's at least shown he can outclimb Nibs when he's going well.

Ha ha! So funny and so true,Alejandro is a master at snatching defeat from the jaws of victory.:D

Somehow he's still the winningest non-sprinter in the peloton and has been for years.

Is it outrageous to hope Frank Schleck finishes top5? He has punctured/crashed in almost every single meaningful stage this year, starting with Oman. I hope he does better today...

Sorry to be a conspiracy theorist, but didn't Sherwen earlier say there was a 70 metre skidmark where Alberto crashed?

Wow Paul just said a rumour a bike fell on Contador when they were changing for Roche.

That's not what they said at all. They were saying the rumor about his frame splitting in two was incorrect. That the frame fell off the car (and split) when they were changing Roche's wheel.

seems it was a backup bike on the car-roof that has fallen, and broke its frame, not Contadors..

Tinkoff-Saxo DS: “According to some rumours, his [Contador's] bike has been broken but that's not the case.”

We'll see how exciting the rest of the tour will be after the MTF. Will Nibali stamp his authority or will he finally show some fragility?
