Oh but...I expect Alberto Contador to attack, attack and attack! This race is going to be even more of a fight now

I personally couldn't ask for more. That was one of my best moment of the season so far... Nibali is a great bike handler.
Shame for Froomey but 2014 is definitely not his year. I hope he's not too badly hurt.

Hitch dream came true today. Contador lost nearly 3 minutes today.

Man, Contador was weak today. I had him down at +90s originally. Much worse now.

I mean Van Garderen, Talansky, Bardet etc were all better.

Anyway this is what racing is all about.

Praise the Lord for today's magnificent Stage, which truly revealed the authentic Champions from the fakes, and for giving us a glance on how Paris-Roubaix should be ridden on with the proper conditions added......

Hats off to Boom, Vincenzo & Fuglsang - truly warriors :)

Can't see him getting more than 20-30 secs per MTF.

Incredible the fans AC has. Wasn't Quintana down almost 3 minutes at some point in this year's Giro?? I don't think he panicked at all.

Quintana had shown in the last TDF he was easily the second best climber in the world though, and his competition was Uran not a top 10 climber. Contador hasn't shown he's significantly better than Nibali or Valverde in a GT since he came back from his suspension.

I'm not panicked at all. I've followed AC long enough to know that he's going to take the fight to Nibali all the way to Paris.

I doubt it this time. He's not in his best shape.

Contador was not as good as i thought he be but probably as much due to the rain as much as wet roads.

JVDB impressed me and talansky was good but Nibali just a star today.

What an amazing stage! Definitely one of the most epic races I've ever watched.

This is between Nibali and Contador now with Lil' Richie the main candidate for the last podium spot. I still have Contador as the favorite for the title, but it's definitely close.
