Nooo... froome is out the race???.. i'm not his fan. But this is BS from the organizer. They got what they want to see..

Without the crash yesterday he would probably have been fine. I think this totally sucks but staying on the bike is actually one thing you have to master.

We didn't even get to the cobbles yet. Should they neutralize every single slippery road?

Froome for the Vuelta? Whoever wins this TDF is not the strongest that is for sure. Also credit to the many people who don't like him but sound gutted he is out.

What are you even talking about? We don't know that Froome was the strongest. The race is made on the road. Gutted for him that he had to abandon though.

Don't understand that , if it was PR nobody would have asked for a cancellation. Now it just happens that PR is the 5th stage of the TDF :D

It's sad... I really wanted to see a show Contador vs Froome. :(

What?

So because the Dawg handles like a total **** when its wet it means whoever wins isnt the best?

Come on! Its part of bike racing being able to handle the bike!

this is getting ridicilous. the riders should just agree to ride together and neutralize the stage. i understand the bike handling etc, wet road, but this is not even the cobble yet. Are we all going to be happy if the contenders crash out??? and.. Geezzz.. look froome is already tumble twice. Even i'm not his fan, but this isn't how you win the race either...

If he can't handle wet roades he shouldn't even ride a bike!

And the great cry eminating from the UK about this stage will be heard for days...

Dude should be able to handle a bike like the other GC guys are.

There are people sliding off the road all over the place

Could've been a great tour, gonna be a walkover for Contador now. Provided he stays healthy.
