Because Vanmarcke and Boom are in front. They are mastering the 'be in every group, ride nowhere' tactic.

Mollema is no opponent of Contador. Mollema only has to watch the likes of Pinot and König etc

Talansky was with Nibali, since that crash haven't seen him but id assume he is now in the Contador group

What I hate most is that the ASO and the July fans are going to act like it was some genius idea to include cobbles when they should be included once in every edition.

Maybe it's the weather and the hectic nature of the stage, but they aren't updating who's where very well, at least on the Eurosport feed.
