This is true. Pretty much applies to their whole team. Always visible in breaks for the doms and not afraid to go from a long way out for their bigger riders.

Why just sit in the pack and do nothing? Going on the attack he has a chance and at least get's some TV time for the team. If he sits in the pack he get's nothing.

Sponsor coverage? Or maybe he just likes to be in this position? Come think of it, even if you "know" you are doomed, pretty cool to attack and be in the lead!

Because it's a stage win in the Tour. Obviously HE doesn't think there's no hope!:)

He's not in this race for the GC anyway, he just rides for the dots.
