Very nice sprint from Modolo for the win.

Crash stopped the rest of the peloton, hopefully no one seriously hurt.

Looks like it was Cav?

I'm impressed by how good Renshaw is at positioning himself and Cav. I know Cav lost his wheel and was part of the big crash, but Renshaw's ability to maneuvre around in the bunch sprints is really impressive.

Who the f*** designs finishes like this after a flat stage? Accident waiting to happen. Seriously, completely ridiculous sensationalism.

That was far to dangerous to have a proper sprint to the line, looks like everyone involved is ok but could have been much worse

time to say:

enough is enough.:mad::mad:

wtf do these stage designers think of themselves. do they want to kill people now?
I hope someone files a case of criminal negligence against these designers.

if they needed the right-left combo, they could have kept it a km away.

i want the TdS guys to apologize to riders, teams and fans for manufacturing this crash.

A right-left combo is fine *if* the road is wide enough. The right turn went into an exceedingly narrow road. Nowhere near enough room, plus the riders were squeezed even more as they came out of the corner.

But since it is easier to move the finish rather than build a wider road :D, the course designers should be taken to task for this.

Terrible. F.

It seems incredible to me that there arent hard rules laid down by UCI about the layout of stage finishes, i.e. corners, road width etc

Maybe there are rules but they are just totally inadequate!
