Excellent rides by Costa, Frank and Pinot. Disappointed with Mollema and Kreuziger. Thought they would do better. Congrats to Martin. The victory was never in doubt.

The GC is between Costa and Frank IMO. The others have lost too much time and the last two stages doesn't seem to be hard enough.

Tom Dumoulin's reaction when Tony Martin crossed the line:
"K**"" (literally means c*** but what it actually means more like damn or sh** it isn't meant against a person :p )

So it's Costa vs. Frank now?

Frank is the better climber I think, but Costa seems to be in super shape.

Costa is the better climber? He is more of an all-rounder imo. Frank is a pure climber.

LOLWUT is so 2009, btw. ;)

I remember someone laughing at Frank as a choice in the poll of TdS potential winners. Here is your answer. Frank has arrived. And he's improving every year. This season he has largely improved his TT and he can battle in one week races with the best. I'm looking forward to his Tour. I think he can top 10.

So what's Dumoulin, chopped liver?

Neither is a pure climber but overall Costa is much better.

What makes you think Frank is a better climber than Costa?

Martin too much class as usual, special mention to Craddock thought he might crack the top 10 but that was a great showing today.

It's gonna be interesting what Cannondale is about to do with their GC chances.
My guess is they'll have Sagan pull for Formolo podium tomorrow. So weird to see two of them in top 10 GC.

So weird to see any two of them anywhere near another member of their team full stop.

I agree that Costa is better overall. But based on his perfomance in the Col de l'Ospedale stage and Bayern Rundfahrt, I'd that he is more of a climber than Rui. Costa is more of an opportunist.

Considering cycling started in 2014 and there are no previous results before that, particularly results with both guys on the same race, i guess that's a fair point. . . . oh wait

Maybe now because Frank is on the decline. But Costa has to prove that he is the better climber, something that Frank has proved in the past many times.

Lol no. He's been great too. But he's been second to Martin in TT's many times. He is in great form so his 2nd place was expected. I even had a bet on him to top3. Congrats to him. If you thought of GC, I haven't thought of that, yet. But imo the climbs will be still too difficult for him to hang on with the climbers.

Cattaneo did very well again today. Nice to see a young italian rider on Lampre doing well

Yeah unfortunately Dumoulin is about 10kg too heavy to follow climbers on a long climb. But I hope he keeps focussing on ITT, rather than to become a 2nd rate GC rider.

He can win a lot of small tours and time trials that way, like Tony Martin has.

I was expecting this kind of performance from Rui Costa (it was and still is my pick to win Tour de Suisse), he's gonna here 3-Peat I hope, not fail like Miami did. :D

Best WT result from Frank is a 4th place this year on Romandie and Costa already won 2 Tour de Suisse destroying a field of climbers like this http://www.procyclingstats.com/race/Tour_de_Suisse_2012_Stage_1_Verbier (Frank 23th at 1.28 m) and this http://www.procyclingstats.com/race/Tour_de_Suisse_2013_Stage_7_La_Punt (Frank 9th at 22 sec)

It's Frank that must prove that's better climber than Costa, because Costa has beaten Frank every year consistently.

I also see Frank as the top favorite to win this Tour de Suisse. He just looks really strong, and i think he's better climber then Costa, but by a small margin. However, 11 seconds is not impossible for him at all to make up.

I can even see Acevedo fighting for the podium. He rode a really good TT, and he's not too far back.
